Towels have a one-minute kill time for TB, streptococcus, salmonella, and pseudomonas. They kill MRSA, VRE, and staphylococcus within two minutes. Towels are EPA-registered as a one-step cleaner and disinfectant. Towels are used to clean and disinfect countertops, benchtops, and medical equipment. May also be used in blood banks, wastewater facilities, and restrooms. Safe for use on hard, non-porous surfaces including plastics, glass, ceramics, tile, linoleum, enamel, and stainless steel. Towels are individually sealed in tear-open foil-lined packets with the expiration date printed on the pouch. They have a shelf life of one year. Full-size towels are sealed in 4.6x10.2cm (3x4") pouches and unfold to the full 15.2x30.5cm (6x12") size. A full-size towel contains enough solution to wipe down a 3.7m2 (40sq.ft.) area. Mini towels measure 7.6x7.6cm (3x3") and are ideal for cleaning up small spills as well as disinfecting glucometers, centrifuges, blood pressure cuffs, and other small areas. Towels are saturated with sodium hypochlorite (bleach) diluted to 0.525%, the 1:10 dilution recommended by NCCLS, OSHA, and CDC for killing many microorganisms. Specifically-sized dispensers are constructed of clear acrylic. Note: Solution contained in towels will corrode aluminum.
